Craft a colorful chemis-tree and garden using felt shapes and liquid watercolors. Then concoct a chemical solution that'll make your garden grow fun and funky crystals over two days. Learn about the science of crystals — how they're formed, and how they make up all sorts of things, like salt, snow, and sapphires!

Kinda small for what I was expecting, but my kids had fun anyway. Definitely do this one at the kitchen table. Beautiful colors.

My 12 year old son loved the product so much he asked me to order more. First the crystal maker and now he wants the hydraulic claw to keep him busy this summer. I can’t wait to see what he makes next.

My 4 year old son was able to do this with my help. The end result is just as amazing as shown on the picture. Super fun!

My granddaughter enjoyed making this project and watching it grow!

My 6yo daughter thoroughly enjoyed the project. Final output turned out to be great. We expedited the crystal forming process by pointing a little fan towards the garden thereby drying it faster. Tip: Creating a timelapse video of overnight crystallization process adds whole another dimension to the fun and enjoyment. 5 stars.

I did this kit with two 4 year olds and a 6 year old. All three were engaged and enjoyed putting it together. Really good for hand eye coordination and a fun way to explore science for a lot of ages.

My 14 year old and I enjoyed watching this grow. It would be neat to set up a time lapse camera because it was literally growing before our eyes while we sat at the table!

So cool to watch the crystals grow over time. Not only teaches science, but also teaches patience.

I bought this for an 8 year old's birthday. He loved it! “Messy enough” that made him excited. The crystals grew faster than we thought! In hour! And it looks awesome!

Our 5 year old grandson love this activity

My one child's crystal mixture leaked all over. The crystals to both projects was very small barely noticeable even after two days. Also the foam trees/grass/bushes did not stay up or in their places.

Crystals grow and it's a little bit of science and a little bit of art. It's really cool to see and learn from

I have yet to have a child who doesn’t love making crystals! This project was really wonderful. She loved landscaping her garden and watching it change and grow. This was fantastic.

The crystals were fast growing and didn

It worked as I thought it would, and the kids enjoyed it. The bushes, and especially the tree kept falling over.

We found the science behind it very interesting and the instructions were easy to follow. The only issue was with the tree. When it became saturated with the paint color, it became too heavy to stay standing up by itself. We ended up not being able to use it and just used the smaller bushes and grass instead.

It turned out beautiful just as described. My 5 year old and her 13 year old brother worked on it together. Both enjoyed the process of set up and monitoring for crystal growth.
