Research & Science of Early Childhood Development

Research tells us that the first three years of life are a period of incredible growth, and are key for building a foundation for a child's learning and development.

Panda Crate is based on a belief that children are naturally curious and creative, and learn by playing, exploring, and most importantly, through interactions with the significant adults in their lives. That's why we are so delighted to be working with the experts at Seattle Children's Hospital to bring you research-backed techniques to support your child's healthy development.

From the experts at Seattle Children's

Driven by my desire to learn what a child's developing mind needs, I changed my entire research program to focus on actionable strategies that optimize children's cognitive, social and emotional development from birth to age 5. For more than 15 years, my laboratory at Seattle Children's Research Institute has been dedicated to figuring out the most effective strategies for parents to employ with their young children to promote healthy development.

Over the years, I have spoken to thousands of parents all over the world but not until now have I had the opportunity to bring advice and tools to new parents in their homes each month. I am thrilled to be partnering with Panda Crate to provide parents with the information we needed when our son was born.
